Marc Sobel
Internal Auditor
Marc Sobel joined the Foundation in September 2004 as its first Internal Auditor. In addition to establishing and managing the Internal Audit function within the Foundation, Mr. Sobel is responsible for preparing the annual audit plan, and planning, executing and reporting all audits to the Foundation's Audit Committee. He also works with the Foundation's senior officers and staff in various consulting capacities, as needed.
From 1996 to 2002, Mr. Sobel was a Manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers' Global Risk Management Services group. During his tenure with PwC, he participated in a three year overseas rotation working in the London office. Mr. Sobel also worked for two years as an Internal Audit Manager at J. Crew Group Inc. before joining the Foundation. Mr. Sobel is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) as well as a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA). Mr. Sobel received a BS from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business with a double major in Accounting and Information Systems.
