Rebecca Feit
Assistant General Counsel
Rebecca Feit joined the Foundation in May 2007 as the Foundation’s Assistant General Counsel.
Before joining the Foundation, Ms. Feit served as a tax associate at the law firm of Dewey Ballantine LLP, where she worked on a wide range of matters, including advising clients on tax and other legal matters and preparing tax opinions; legal memoranda; partnership, merger, and loan agreements; guaranties; stock and note offerings; and operative documents for domestic and international transactions. In 2002-2003, Ms. Feit clerked for the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Israel.
Ms. Feit received her B.A., cum laude, from Barnard College in 1998, where she majored in art history, and her J.D. from Columbia University School of Law in 2002. She is pursuing an LL.M in Taxation at the New York University School of Law. Rebecca is a co-founder and vice president of SSEJ, an international organization, founded in 1999, that conducts advocacy and humanitarian relief efforts on behalf of 26,000 displaced Ethiopian refugees.
