Senior Advisor

Stuart J. Saunders is the Foundation's Senior Advisor for the South Africa program.  He is emeritus vice-chancellor of the University of Cape Town, where he was previously professor of medicine.  His memoirs, Vice-Chancellor on a Tightrope, were published by David Philip in 2000.
