Susan Perry
Senior Advisor
Susan L. Perry is Senior Advisor for the Liberal Arts Colleges program at The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation where she works closely with Vice President Mary Patterson McPherson and Program Officers Eugene M. Tobin and Danielle Carr Ramdath. Ms. Perry is also Director of Programs at the Council on Library and Information Resources (CLIR).
Previously, Ms. Perry was the College Librarian and Director of Library, Information and Technology Services at Mount Holyoke College. Other past positions include Director, Departmental Systems Group, Stanford Data Center, Stanford University; Head, J. Henry Meyer Memorial Library, Stanford University; and Dean, Library and Media Services, The Evergreen State College.
Ms. Perry holds a degree in history from Wake Forest University and a degree in librarianship from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
Ms. Perry serves on the boards of EDUCAUSE, Seminars on Academic Computing, and New Media Centers, and is a member of the Coalition for Networked Information Steering Committee. Ms. Perry is especially interested in helping to build library and computing organizations to support undergraduate learning.
