Overview

The Foundation’s Appalachian Colleges Program provides multi-year grants to liberal arts colleges that serve the Appalachian region. Currently, the Foundation works with the leadership of the Appalachian College Association (ACA), which is a consortium of 35 liberal arts colleges situated throughout central Appalachia (www.acaweb.org).

Grants awarded in this program are aimed at providing additional research opportunities for faculty members, assisting faculty members as they address ongoing curricular needs, and providing resources and professional development opportunities for librarians.
