Haian Abdirahman

Mohamed Haian Abdirahman serves as the Foundation's archivist. In this role, he documents the Foundation's work by analyzing, describing, and processing historical records. He also works with staff through archival reference and programming. Prior to joining the Foundation, he served as an archives graduate research assistant for the Hogg Foundation for Mental Health. Mr. Abdirahman holds a BA in English literature from North Dakota State University, as well as an MS in information studies and MPA in public affairs from the University of Texas at Austin, with concentrations in archives, records management, and public administration. Throughout his undergraduate and graduate studies, Mr. Abdirahman was a fellow in the US Department of Education's Ronald E. McNair Scholars Program.
