Karen Inal joined the Foundation in 2010 as a senior portfolio manager. Ms. Inal works with the chief investment officer to manage the Foundation's investment portfolio. Her areas of focus are natural resources, real estate, fixed income, and diversified strategies.
Prior to joining the Foundation, Ms. Inal spent most of her career at JPMorgan, where she was a managing director in investment banking and advised corporate clients on mergers and acquisitions, financing, and derivatives. She also worked at Thomson Financial, as head of strategy and mergers and acquisitions, and acted as an advisor to the president of Ithaka. Ms. Inal holds a BS in industrial engineering from Stanford University. She serves as a trustee on the Trinity School board and is a member of the investment committee.
