Nora Mitnick

Nora Mitnick joined the Foundation in 2019 as the manager of grant information systems.  In this role, Ms. Mitnick oversees the Foundation's grants systems, the work of the data management office, and its intersections with other Foundation areas.

Prior to joining the Foundation, Ms. Mitnick served as the senior manager, grants management and program operations at the Russell Sage Foundation, the principal American foundation devoted exclusively to research in the social sciences.  While at Russell Sage, Ms. Mitnick led the grants management team and the implementation of the foundation's grant management system.  Ms. Mitnick previously worked as the executive associate to the president & CEO of Helen Keller International, an international organization focused on preventing blindness and malnutrition, where she managed the board, executive office, and the organization's strategic planning efforts.

Ms. Mitnick received an MPA in public and nonprofit management from New York University's Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service and a BA in political science from Roger Williams University.
