This report summarizes the findings of a Foundation-funded study conducted by a group of Association of Research Libraries Research Library Leadership Fellows to assess the feasibility of using the "center of excellence" model to help research libraries address the increasingly specialized and technical requirements that come with providing information services in the digital age.
